![]() Andrew Midgley is a professional landscape photographer and staff photographer for the Peak District National Park, working a great deal in this impressive region. His enthusiasm for wild and unspoilt places and his individual style means his work has been used in print widely in the UK and Europe. Andrew studied landscape photography at university and holds a masters degree (distinction). After lecturing in colleges for many years he now regularly leads photography workshops. He has worked with publishers on a variety of major book projects including the best selling Grand Literary Café’s of Europe. In 2008 he was highly commended in the Landscape Photographer of the Year competition for his photograph of a coastal thunder storm. Andrew lives in North Norfolk and loves the sublime qualities of the countryside and coastline. He can be found out along the coast with his camera on most days of the year, walking by the creeks and salt-marshes, watching the changing skies and the light falling on this wild landscape. In 2010 Andrew has won three bronze awards in the first Epson International Pano Awards, a prestigious new competition for panoramic photographers. |
